Privacy notice.
This website collects as little about you as it can. Here is exactly what happens to your information.
Who we are. This website is run by Barney's Boys, a fundraising team (not a registered charity). You can contact us at barneysboys@outlook.com.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. Our fonts are stored on our own server. The only outside service a page loads is Cloudflare Turnstile on the sponsor page, which checks that the form is being sent by a person.
Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which delivers the pages to you. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic technical details of your device to deliver the site and protect it from attack. Cloudflare is based in the United States and serves pages from data centres around the world.
Sponsorship enquiries
When you send the form on our sponsor page we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if you give one), the package you picked and your message.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots. To stop the form being misused, the website also remembers a scrambled version of your internet address for 10 minutes.
- Your enquiry is then passed through n8n, the automation service used by Proven Path Strategies (who look after this website). It is emailed to our inbox at barneysboys@outlook.com from Proven Path Strategies' Microsoft 365 mailbox. Our inbox is provided by Microsoft Outlook.
- The website keeps no copy of your enquiry and the automation keeps no record of enquiries it has sent.
We use your details only to reply and talk about sponsorship. We delete enquiry emails after 12 months unless they lead to a sponsorship.
Donations
Donations are made on GiveWheel, not on this website. When you follow a donate link you leave this site. GiveWheel and the charities you give to then handle your details under their own privacy policies.
Social media
Links to Instagram and Facebook take you to those websites, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete any information we hold about you by emailing barneysboys@outlook.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
